Car Into Tree Sends Driver to Local Trauma Hospital

Robbinsville Twp. (Mercer County)- Firefighters were dispatched by Robbinsville PD to the area of 59 Robbinsville-Edinburg Road around 11:30 PM on July 3 for a report of a car into a tree. On arrival, Engine 402 Captain reported a single car into a tree MVA. Due to the severity of the damage, Engine 402 went into service with extrication tools to free the entrapped victim. Engine 401 arrived on scene at the completion of the extrication and assisted with packing and loading the driver into Ambulance 140-12 as well as clean up. 140-12 and Medics transported the driver to the local area trauma hospital for further treatment. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time and is being looked into by the Robbinsville Twp. Police Department.
